ASSICOOP ROMAGNA DONATES 36 DEFIBRILLATORS TO SCHOOLS IN ROMAGNA
First delivery to CNOS-FAP at the Festival del Buon Vivere
Forlì (23/9/22): There are 36 defibrillators that Assicoop Romagna is donating to 32 first and second grade schools in the provinces of Forlì-Cesena, Rimini and Ravenna. The first defibrillator was symbolically handed over on Friday 23 September at 11.00 a.m. at the Chiostri di San Domenico to the students of the Centro Nazionale Opere Salesiane - Formazione e Aggiornamento Professionale in Forlì.
The handover event was also an opportunity for Federica Campacci, a biomedical engineer who represents the Forlì Cardiology Association and collaborates with the Forlì Cardiology-Emodinamics Department, and Sandra Nocciolini, a representative of Viva and Coordinator within the Forlì-Cesena Emergency-Urgency Department, to talk to the young people present about the predictive signs of heart problems in young people.
In addition, Giovanni Barolo of the Sago Medica company showed the children and teachers present how to use the Schiller Fred Pa-1 defibrillator (the semi-automatic model that was donated to the various schools).
"Our company," declare Maurizio Benelli and Lorenzo Cottignoli, respectively Managing Director and President of Assicoop Romagna, "has always been dedicated to the wellbeing and health of those who live in the places where we operate. This time we wanted to do more, to do better: with this donation we want to help make those who live in classrooms safe on a daily basis. It is a small gesture, in the great sea of needs, but for us it represents a sense of belonging to these places and caring for our children".
The donation is entirely supported by Assicoop Romagna Futura, and the delivery event was organised with the participation of the Associazione Cardiologica Forlivese and included in the programme of the Festival del Buon Vivere.
