Technical Assistance

Technical assistance is therefore understood as the entire series of technical and administrative actions aimed at restoring a device to its original state of operation and safety following a fault and/or anomaly.
The activity consists of ascertaining the presence of the fault, identifying the causes that generated it, taking the necessary measures to remove the aforementioned causes in order to completely restore the original state of operation, and finally performing all the actions necessary to restore the integrity and functionality to its original state as well as guaranteeing the safety for which it was designed.
The purpose of the corrective maintenance activity therefore translates into the achievement of certain priority objectives:

  • Immediate resolution through a first intervention visit and/or with remote support of all faults, with particular attention to all those requests for which the resolution of the fault does not foresee a real corrective action but only a functional restoration due not to congenital malfunctions of the device but to external actions such as incorrect usage procedures;
  • Reduction of downtime, thanks to the technical training of personnel and the wide availability of spare parts in its warehouses;
  • Ensuring the safety of patients and operators by systematically assessing the extent of the fault and the technical feasibility of the intervention each time;
  • Performing safety checks as required by current regulations to minimise the risk of using the equipment;
  • Prolonging the life expectancy of the machine. Technical interventions will be carried out by specialised technical personnel for the different types of equipment, with proven experience in the sector;
    • Computerised management of the maintenance history of each machine, available for on-line consultation of machine files to facilitate:
      - visualisation of the progress of corrective maintenance operations;
      - management of the technological fleet;
      - drafting of renewal plans;
      - processing of replacement plans;
      - consultation of documentation in the event of inspections by authorised bodies.
